Below is my game at a chess correspondence website a few weeks ago. I was shocked that when I analysed it, I have too many blunders! for example the 22. Rxg7 is a bad move because of Qe6, and quickly equalizes.



although the position is good for white right after 20. Qe5, i tell u guys, it's not a win yet.

Miri KRP Rapid Chess Open 2009

the tournament concluded yesterday (opss, last month. I post it late due to lazy and busy hehehehe) and champion is again, Morsin Ahmad with 6/7. I won 2nd place 5.5/7.I lost to Morsin in 6th round and draw with Abd Sahim who got 4th after losing to Morsin in the last round. 3rd is Mohd Noh Anuk, 5.5/7.

National Closed 2009

The annual tournament which concluded yesterday saw another young talent, Evan Timothy Capel clinch the National Master title after beating 3 of his compatriot in the play-off macth, Abdullah Che Hassan, LZR and last year winner NM Edward Lee. This is the Sabahan players achievement:

Morsin Ahmad wins Miri Open 2009. No detail standings provided, I got a friend who just come back from there.

Abu Bakar is third place while Yusuf Hashim comes fourth.
